Hi, it’s me. My name is Haley

If you’ve landed here, welcome. There’s a good chance you’re feeling anxious, stuck, or quietly craving something different. Maybe you’re holding it together on the outside while your inner world feels loud, overwhelming, or disconnected.

I just want to say this upfront. You’re not alone. And nothing about you needs fixing.

This space exists because I once needed it too.

How Mind Body & Breath Was Born (Before I Had the Language for It)

Mind Body & Breath didn’t start as a business idea. It started as a survival response.

For a long time, I lived in cycles of pushing through anxiety, overwhelm and emotional shutdown. I didn’t understand why my reactions felt so big and exhausting or why I was always on edge. I just knew I was tired of feeling like I was constantly bracing myself for life.

There have been many seasons of my life where I felt disconnected from my body, unsure of myself, and frustrated that mindset work alone wasn’t creating the change I was wanting and craving. In fact, it was actually doing the opposite. I felt like there was something wrong with me and even started to get a little crazy girl.

Then during COVID, everything slowed down enough for me to hear myself and actually listen.

I was driving one day when I felt a quiet but clear message. “It’s time.”

I pulled over, sat in my car, and signed up for my first Reiki training right there. No overthinking. No five-year plan. Just a deep knowing that this is what I needed to do.

That moment opened a door.

Learning to Feel Safe in My Body Again

After that, I dove into breathwork and then the nervous system.

And suddenly, everything started to make sense. All of the puzzle pieces were coming together.

I realized my anxiety wasn’t a flaw. My overwhelm wasn’t a weakness. My patterns weren’t random.

My body had been doing exactly what it learned to do to keep me safe.

When I stopped trying to force change and started learning how to create safety in my body, things began to shift naturally. I stopped losing my sh!t every time frustration or anger showed up. I got clear on how I wanted to live and move through life. And my capacity grew in a way that finally felt sustainable.

That’s when self-trust started to return.

And that’s the foundation of everything I do and teach now.

What I Believe (And What I Don’t)

I believe you know your body better than anyone else. PERIOD, end of story!

I believe fulfillment doesn’t come from doing more or fixing yourself. It comes from alignment and reconnection. From learning how to listen to your body instead of overriding it.

I don’t believe in pushing through fear.
I don’t believe in bypassing emotions.
And I definitely don’t believe that positive thinking alone creates lasting change.

I believe your nervous system has more influence on your life than affirmations alone. And that real transformation happens when your body feels safe enough to allow it.

Why I Do This Work Now

I created Mind Body & Breath and The Embodied Shift Method because it’s what I needed to heal.

It’s now a space where I get to share the tools, practices, and processes that helped me reconnect with myself, build inner safety, and create a life that I actually love and that feels fulfilling.

I love helping women slow down enough to hear themselves again. I love watching someone realize they don’t need to abandon themselves to create change. I love reminding women that they’re allowed to move gently.

This work is for the woman who knows she’s meant for more, but doesn’t want to burn herself out getting there.

A Few Things You Should Know About Me

Just so you really know who you’re hanging out with here.

I’m a Virgo..
I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 20 years.
I’m an only child.
I have an 11 year old poodle mix velcro dog named Lea. I often joke that I am her emotional support human.

And I’m deeply passionate about helping women feel safe in their bodies so they can trust themselves again.

If You’re Feeling Called, This Is Where I’d Start

If any part of this resonated, I want you to know that change doesn’t have to be overwhelming.

You don’t need a massive plan. Heck, you don’t even need to know the next ten steps. You just need a place to begin.

That’s why I created The Daily Shift.

It’s 5 simple, grounding practice designed to help you reconnect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and create small moments of clarity and calm in your day. And it’s free.

If I were you, this is where I’d start.

Here’s to your next shift,

Haley
